Night Bloom

It's a sweet moment between Gabriel and Ophelia (his future mate). I don't know why, but I'm really in love with this couple and wish we got to see more of them- especially Ophelia! Some people think her triceratop-y horns are ugly, but I actually like them (I just would have made them " softer", like a bit more feminine.) Anyways, this is a moment between them BEFORE they are mates. Like that whole "i think I'm falling in love"   

And, YES! This was totally inspired by a scene from the movie "The Prince of Egypt "! 

Gabriel and Ophelia are just spending time together, sitting by a lake, and enjoying each others company. Then Gabriel has to leave to go on patrol (or something like that). Ophelia watches him go and when she picked up her bow...She discovers a sweet surprise left by Gabriel. Awwwwwwwwwwwww!   

I actually drew this months ago for my boyfriend, who really likes my pencil not-colored drawings, but had to add a pop of color! I'm very very pleased with how this come out. I kept forgetting to put this up, but I figured Valentine's Day would be perfect!
